Bill Minutaglio

Bill Minutagliio

Bill Minutaglio, in spite of New York roots (Columbia, class of '76), has spent most of his professional life in Texas. He has worked for the Abilene Reporter-News, the San Antonio Express-News, the Houston Chronicle, and Dallas Morning News, while at various time contributing to many national publications such as Talk and the New York Times and serving as bureau chief for People magazine.

Although he gained considerable national attention for First Son: George W. Bush and the Bush Family Dynasty, Minutaglio was not a political writer and apparently did not aspire to become one. His other books include The Hidden City about the Oak Cliff section of Dallas with his wife Holly Williams, City on Fire an account of the Texas City disaster, and with Nick Newtal Lockerroom Mojo about superstitions of athletes.
