Policies of My Adult Site

This policy page is not actually in the adult section so that it can be examined by people who do not want to enter the adult area. References to "this site" in this policy page mean my adult site.

Lars Eighner's Adult Home Page is an adult web site. If you are not an adult by the laws of your state or nation or if you offended by explicit descriptions or pictures of male homosexuality and homosexual acts please go elsewhere. If you are looking for my not-so-adult site, use any of the navigational aids on this page except "My Adult Site."

My adult site contains a text section for texts such as Lavender Blue and Gay Cosmos. The texts section does not contain sexually explicit photographs in editorial or advertising matter. This section is for adults who are interested in these texts but not in viewing explicit images. The section, however, is intended only for adults and may have advertisements for sexually-related products or other web sites.

My adult site will voluntarily and correctly identify itself as an explicitly adult-content site according to the PICS standard. Filtering Software

Many modern browsers now come with filtering software. In addition, there are a number of commercial products for content filtering which are available as add-ons or plug-ins. Prices for the commercial products tend to range from $20-$40. None of this software is perfect. While all of it ought to filter out my adult site, which is a self-identified adult site, almost all of it will fail to filter some adults sites and will block sites which have no adult content.

Banners and Sponsored Galleries

My adult site may have banners and sponsored galleries.

I have selected banners and sponsored content that I think will please people who have arrived at the right web site. I'm not putting this site up for my health. I am working hard to provide you with a quality site, and I deserve to be paid for my efforts.

Some banners pay me when you click on them, visit the advertiser's site, and see what that site has to offer. Other banners pay me if you actually join the pay site you will visit when you click through. I hope you will visit the sites of the banner advertisers that interest you. Some sites beg you click their banners so they can make more money. Frankly, your time is more valuable than the pittance I get paid for the click, so don't bother if you know you aren't interested in that kind of site.

There are many banner services for me to choose from, and I can be and have been selective. I think the sites with banners here are interesting and you might find them them interesting, too. It ought to be obvious that banners are advertising. Text links which are advertising will clearly be indicated as such and so will exchange links.

By all means, visit as many of the sites as interest you. Clicking banners for the same site multiple times will do me no good, so don't bother if your reason for doing so is that you think it will increase my revenues.

I don't believe you will have an unpleasant experience with my advertisers, but if you do, send me mail with as many specific details as possible and a valid return e-mail that I can use to contact you. As I've said, there are many banner services I can choose from.

I can't sell it to you. I can't exchange it for content you may have. I am open, however, to exchange of banners for my site and original content.

Meanings of Certain Words

The words boy, twink, kid, teen, young and so forth used in promotional materials and editorial content are not meant to imply that photographic models or other persons referred to by such terms are minors. I know, I know. Straight men can say they like girls, they are going to have a date with a girl, or that they have a great collection of "girlie" magazines, and no one thinks they are sexually interested in children. But when a gay man uses the word "boy" in exactly the same context as a straight man uses the word "girl"…

Descriptive text, captions, and commentary about images at this site do not necessarily reflect the actual actions, character, or other attributes of the photographic models. If photographic images appear with or illustrate fiction, the fiction has nothing to do with the photographic models.

Content Policies

My adult site will not contain photographs of persons under the age of 18 at the time of the photography (except for my yearbook photo) or any material involving minors in any aspect of its production or distribution.

My adult site will not depict or portray material involving or suggesting non-consensual sexual activities among persons of any age. In particular, this site will not use material portraying rape, serious injury, violent sexual assault, war, or mayhem in a positive light. My adult site may contain material pertaining to consensual sexual play involving bondage, domination, sadomasochism, or various fetishes. I can distinguish fantasy, consensual sexual play, and violent assault. If you don't recognize those distinctions too, you don't belong here.

My adult site will not depict bestiality.

My adult site will not contain unlicensed copyright material.

Moral Right of Artists and Models

Even if licensed, this site will not contain pictures of persons who do not want their likenesses displayed here and will not contain art or literature against the wishes of the creator of the art or literature. In other words, if your likeness or your work appears here, it will be removed if you ask, even if you are not the copyright holder of the material and even if the material is in the public domain or has been licensed to me by the copyright holder.

Submitted Material

If this site has a guest book, blog, or other feature soliciting reader comments, by using those features you agree you are granting me a non-exclusive right to publish your submission on the web or to make any other use of the material.

This Site has an Accessibility Policy

My adult site is committed to being as accessible as I know how to make it. My pages and style sheets will validate, and my pages will render in a reasonably coherent way with every minimally compliant browser in current or recent release. This is also known as the Best Viewed with any Browser policy.

No Frames: My pages will not use frames (if you are seeing frames, my site has been framed by someone else - you should come to my pages directly). No Pop-ups: My adult site will not use pop-ups.

Otherwise, this site will use logical markup tags, and will use them correctly. Although I use the loose DTDthe body of my site will aim to be free of presentational markup. I will make liberal use of the alt, summary, and title attributes.

No Javascript links, No Java, No Flash. You won't find blank pages (at least not because they are full of script) or links you cannot follow because they are in Javascript. There won't be pictures you can't see because they are in Flash. You won't have to wait five minutes to see a cheesy little cartoon animation because it is in Java. This is more of the Best Viewed with Any Browser policy.

Because this is an adult site, there will be galleries, and there is not much that can be done to make galleries more accessible. Thumbnails will have alt values of [ Thumbnail ] and full-sized graphics will have alt values of [ Photo ] or [ Art ] or other appropriate description.

I don't have the skill or the equipment to test these pages in speech browsers, but if something doesn't work, let me know and I will try to fix it.

This Site has a Privacy Policy

I collect absolutely no data on visitors to this site. If I ever get any information on visitors, it will never be given, sold, or rented to a third party.

I will not spam you by e-mail or in newsgroups. Eventually I may have an opt-in mailing list. In that case, you will get an e-mail asking if you really are the person at that e-mail address and if you want to continue to receive e-mail. If you do not reply in the affirmative, you will never receive e-mail from me again. I won't send you any e-mail unless someone, either you or someone pretending to be you, sends me e-mail first or signs up for some mailing list or other feature I may have in the future. I won't have a form for something else that contains a sneaky little check box giving me permission to spam you. If there ever is any signing up for e-mail here, it will be on a form that is about signing up for e-mail, says it is about signing up for e-mail, and is not about anything other than signing up for e-mail.

I hope we will soon have user galleries here. If that happens and if you send images to it, I will collect and maintain information necessary to show that you are the originator of the image, that you gave me permission to use it, and that all persons depicted are at least 18 years of age. I will make that information available to competent authorities if I am compelled by law to do so.

Every site with click through banners and other promotional links has some scheme to inform the site you go to of the identity of the site you came from. This is necessary to settle advertising accounts. That is all the receiving site will learn about you from this site: that you came from here.

All of my advertisers have written anti-spam and other privacy policies. If these issues are a concern to you, read those policies carefully.

No-Traps Policy

It is the policy of this site not to use scripts or refresh tags to defeat the functions of your browser, not to misdirect you, and not to trap you at sites you might not be interested in.

I'm only human and I may forget to put a home button on every page, but I will do nothing to keep you from backing out with your browsers "back" button or key. I will not intentionally send you some place that you don't want to go, not even when you exit my site.

Any complex site has bad links from time to time. If you find one, let me know. Please do the same if you feel you have been trapped by any link on this site.

No AVS

I may very well have an AVS or other paid site someday, but this isn't one.

Part of the no traps policy is that you won't be promised something on this site only to find an AVS page. And you won't have to go through full page ads to get to something promised you on this site. Actually some of the full-page ads are pretty good and there may be some that you can look at if you want to. Now I will link to AVS sites or sites that have full pages ads at their front door.

I won't insult your intelligence by putting special notices on off-site links. I assume you know how to use your browser and it will tell you where a link is going before you follow it. Even if you don't know how to use your browser, the context should make it pretty clear when you are going off site; if you click a banner, and I hope you do, you know you're going to another site, and the situation with text links isn't going to be too hard to suss out. If you are as happy to be here as I am happy to have you, I figure you'll stick around or come back without my giving you dire warnings of the horrible consequences of following an off-site link. In particular, there will not be exit traps.

Hidden Links

There may be two links on some of my pages which are hidden. They go to the W3C validator engines for HTML and CSS. If you find them, you can see how well (or badly) these pages validate. You can use your Back function to come back to my pages. Of course if you have styles off or don't have CSS compliant browser, these links won't be hidden from you.
