These are links to web pages mentioning Eighner which do not
appear to refer to me. These have been gathered and refined from
several search engines. I have not reviewed all of these documents.
Some require a PDF plug-in, others are in MS Word format or in
other formats which may require special plug-ins or viewers. Links
may be dead as this list is not maintained frequently. If you know
a given name you are looking for, you will always get the freshest
results by surrounding the given name and surname with quotes in a
search engine.
Warning: Obituary listings are included. You
could find some unexpected bad news. On the other hand, the Eighner
related to the obituary listing might be a survior, pallbearer, and
so forth.
These are non-Lars sites that I have reviewed which I believed
at the time of the review to be of substantial general interest and
in comformance with my site's privace policy. I can make mistakes
and sites can can change. I will remove sites listed in err or
those the owner of a site or the Eighner named on the site wish to
have removed.
These are links gathered electronically from several search
engines. Beware: I have not necessarily reviewed the content of
these sites. Some of these links may be dead by the time you read
this. Processing has attempted to remove all sites that refer to
Lars or his works, but this processing may not be perfect.
Known problems: There seems to be a scientist named Feighner,
whose name in some documents looks like F. Eighner to search
engines.
These are links to sites with information about the genealogy of
people bearing the surname EIGHNER, and in some cases, variant
spellings of the name. The quality of the information on these
sites varies. The best include some errors made in original
documents. The worst may include transcription errors or
unsubstantiated assumptions, made without fair warning. Some of
these sites ask for payment to access to more detailed information
in their databases. The buyer should beware because in some cases
the information shown as teasers is clearly wrong and in other
cases the information offered for sale is available elsewhere free
and often from sources nearer the original documents.

It is interesting to note that this WPA death index, compiled at
public expense, is now in the hands of a private company that
charges a fee for access.

These are links to my local copies of documents that do not
appear on the web, have appeared on the web but have since
disappeared, or which are likely to disappear from the web and also
to excerpts of much longer documents of which only a tiny portions
are pertinent to the Eighner surname. As well as I can, I have
edited these documents to conform with my privacy policy. If you
are a relative or research with a legitimate need for the original,
first seek the original according to the link given in most of
these documents, and failing that send me email fully identifying
yourself and the document you seek and I will send my copy of the
unedited document. "Document" in these cases means electronic
transcriptions of documents. I do not have and cannot provide you
with the original paper document or copies of them.
These documents are text files in most cases. They do not
contain links back. You have to use your browser's back function to
